About Me

I am a Designer at Alphonso Labs, the creators of Pulse. I am also the Co-founder of Eunoia Labs and work on creating the next big thing in my part time. I also try my hand from time to time in domains that are probably way beyond my reach (read Violin, Programming and Photography). I have a Bachelors in Engineering, Instrumentation & Control from NSIT, New Delhi. When it comes to music, I dig Classical Violin music, Classic Rock, Trance, Movie soundtracks and off late have been exploring 8 Bit music. Some of my favourite artists are Antonio VivaldiPink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay, Hans Zimmer and Armin van Buuren. I support Manchester United for all purposes and cause even remotely related to football (soccer). I have been accused (rightly so) of spending more time with Apple gadgets than my loved ones. I am no longer accepting work requests, however, if you really feel that you are building something that will improve lives or just want to say Hi, please do connect with me using any of the channels mentioned here.

Colophon

This site is the digital manifestation of my thoughts and my passion. All the views expressed here are solely mine and should not be taken in reference of any of the companies that I work for. The site uses HTML5 and CSS3 and is scaffolded with WordPress. The site is hosted at MediaTemple and was built using all kinds of Apple products. The font-stack for the site consists of Adobe Caslon Pro, Hoefler Text for headings while the unique font kits for individual Journal entries are powered by Typekit. The art direction in Journal entries is influenced by Jason Santa Maria. The Connect Page has elements influenced by V-Card website from Tim Van Damme. I have tried to approach the design of this site from a negative aspect; removing all that can be removed including colors to an extent for static pages. I like to think of it as being symbolic to my design skills and hopefully the colors will follow with time and experience. Please feel free to look at the source code and possibly learn something new from it, however, please do not steal it.
